About
So who am I, Daniel Biesiada, you may wonder.
I’m an IT professional who lives in Warsaw, Poland.
I work for local subsidiary office of Microsoft Corporation as so called Developer Evangelist. I don’t preach though. I work with local software companies (so called ISVs, if you prefer) to help them use Microsoft Platform at both sides’s best.
I’m interested in technology. At work, I’m not focused on any single product group. I’m rather focused on particular audience. Still i have my technological preferences. In the past as a software developer I took a part in many interesting projects close to ERM (Enterprise Resources Management) applications.
I developed ERPs, CRMs and Inventory Management and Warehouse Management Systems. I played with Rich Client as well as with the Web.
For me it’s like for ages since I’ve started working very close with my customers. I like feeling agile in this constantly changing world. I like making things that obviously make sense.
I learnt programming because I wanted to make video games. I found myself on a payroll in rather different discipline, but still I share interest in games with I believe many of you. I try not only to play, I try to predict in which direction that industry will go.
As focused on Microsoft technologies and products I do also blog on MSDN. That blog is one of the reason why I started making this page. My MSDN publications are purely in Polish language and crafted carefully for Polish readers. I travel often and I have friends in many different parts of the world. In this Web 2.0 Era they often ask: “Are you blogging, Daniel?”, “Are you twitting too?”. I have had my positive answers, yet these guys (probably you) can’t read Polish at all.
So here we go.. another space in the web filled with some golden thoughts.. lets verify them. As Johny Mnemonic said while connecting to the network “Hit me!”
At the end, it is worth mentioning that this blog is my private initiative. All opinions here are solely representative of Daniel Biesiada, not my employer past, current, nor future. In fact it’s an experiment if with my linguistic power can I stand for even amateur journalism in English.
